Cindy B. Ham (maiden name Brown), was accepted at the age of 15 to the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia.  One of her works, a pastel, is owned by the Wadsworth Athenium in Hartford, CT.  

Untutored and fresh, but unable to attend, and only accepted because of her portfolio, she didn't begin her artistic studies until many years later.   She began at the Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport, CT., and later joined Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven, CT.   She also attended several Frank Covino classes, a realist painter who praised her natural brush strokes.

Cindy has been exhibited in many juried shows and has received awards in different artistic mediums including Photography.

She also enjoys writing poetry & prose and resides in Florida with her musician husband.
